Subscription and purchase terms
Pooldex Plus is optional, and dose calculations are free. You can get Plus as a yearly subscription for $24.99 that renews until you cancel, with a 14-day free trial, as a 6-month Season Pass for $14.99 that does not renew, or as Lifetime for $59.99 once. Apple bills every purchase and handles cancellation and refunds.

The Pooldex app is not in the App Store yet; these terms apply to purchases made once it is. They add to our terms of use. Prices here are U.S. prices; the App Store shows the price in your country and currency before you buy.

Automatic renewal terms (Annual plan)
- It renews automatically. Pooldex Plus Annual continues and renews every year until you cancel it.
- What you pay: $24.99 per year (U.S. price, plus any applicable tax), charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when your free trial ends if you start one. Each renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the current year ends, at the price in effect then.
- How long: each term is one year. There is no minimum number of renewals you have to pay for.
- How to cancel: turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current year or trial, in your Apple Account's subscription settings (steps). You can do it online, on your iPhone, at any time, without contacting us.
- After you cancel: there are no further charges, and you keep Plus until the end of the year or trial you already have. Canceling does not refund the current year; refund requests go to Apple.
Free trial
New subscribers to Pooldex Plus Annual may get a 14-day free trial. Apple decides who is eligible, and there is one trial per Apple Account. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your Apple Account is charged $24.99 when it ends, and the subscription then renews every year. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged, and Plus stays on until the trial ends. If you buy a subscription while a free trial is running, any unused part of the trial is forfeited.
How to cancel
- On your iPhone, open the Settings app.
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Choose Pooldex and tap Cancel Subscription.
In the app, Settings › Manage subscription opens the same screen, and Apple explains other ways in its guide to canceling a subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal or trial end date to avoid the next charge. Your data is never deleted when you cancel.
Season Pass
The Season Pass costs $14.99 and gives you Plus for 6 months from the date of purchase. It is a one-time purchase: it does not renew, and you are never charged again for it. If you buy another Season Pass before the current one ends, the new months start when the current pass ends. The app shows the end date and, if notifications are on, reminds you 7 days before it ends. It works on all your devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
Lifetime
Lifetime costs $59.99 once and is not a subscription. It gives you the Pooldex Plus features for as long as we offer and support the Pooldex app, not for the lifetime of the buyer. Buying Lifetime does not cancel a yearly subscription you already have; the app reminds you to cancel it so you are not charged again.
When Plus ends
When a subscription or a Season Pass ends, nothing is deleted. The free features keep working, history older than 30 days is hidden until you have Plus again, and if you have several pools or hot tubs, you choose one to keep using, while the others stay available to view and export. You can export all your data as CSV for free at any time.
Family Sharing
We plan to make Pooldex Plus Annual and Lifetime available to your Apple Family Sharing group. The Season Pass cannot be shared through Family Sharing. The App Store page shows whether Family Sharing is available for a purchase before you buy it.
Price changes, taxes, and other countries
We may change prices for future periods. If the price of your subscription goes up, Apple tells you in advance and, where required, asks for your consent before the new price applies; without that consent, the subscription ends at the end of the current period. Prices outside the U.S. are set by the App Store in local currency and may include tax.
Refunds
Apple processes all App Store payments, so refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. This does not affect any rights you have under the consumer law of the place where you live.
Restoring purchases
Purchases belong to your Apple Account, not to a Pooldex account (there is none). On a new iPhone, or after reinstalling the app, open it and tap Restore Purchases in Settings.
Your purchase record and reminders
We do not have your email address, so we cannot email you; Apple sends you a receipt for each purchase and renewal. Right after you buy, the app shows the terms of your purchase: the price, the renewal or end date, and how to cancel, with a button to save or share them, and you can open them again in the app's settings. The app can remind you 2 days before a free trial ends if you turn that reminder on, and it shows a notice about 30 days before each yearly renewal with the date and the price.
